Army of Darkness (Army of Darkness) (1993) - Epic Movie sui generis.

"Groovy!".
8/10

bloody Greetings readers!. As if anyone cares, my absence was referred to work-personal factors but in regard to our gender, I began to take a look at the essential Terror 90's. On other occasions I brought reviews of "When A Stranger Calls Back", "Exorcist III", "The Day of the Beast", "The First Power" "The Blair Witch Project", "Scream," "Castle Freak "" Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me ", among others.

The 90's were a time somewhat peculiar because the genre was more than buried ... but not dead. By the same token, efforts to shake off screaming for originality eighties vibe how tall left the genre. In this attempt to revive the Horror Film, jewelry came as we compete today.

Forget the first two "Evil Dead", this third film in the trilogy is totally alien to what we have seen ... Let's get medieval!.

PLOT
This is the sequel to the film "The Awakening of the Devil" in which Ash, a clerk in a discount store Wal-Mart style is transported to 1300 AD with all and his car, his rifle, and his chainsaw. Soon it is discovered and confused by an enemy and a spy by rivals from another realm and therefore is taken as a prisoner.

After demonstrating that it is a kind of warrior from the future to deal with a witch in a well , decides to help the kingdom where he arrived to retrieve the Necronomicon, which also is your ticket back home.

By the same token, you will need to fight the supernatural forces of evil, specifically, the Army of Darkness has been released by mistake, when Ash leeyó and wrongly pronounced incantations. Ahhh, it seems that our hero just can not relax.

COMMENTS
This film not to be missed than those who like unconventional gender. Call it an insanely epic film with shades of Terror and of course the classic black humor and courtesy of Bruce Campbell, which dominates the Ash character perfectly.

If you're a fan of the movies "The Awakening of the Devil" will surely enjoy this third film. Sure, not so much gore and is not as insane and crazy as above, but will gain a pulse the word "cool" when you leave your mouth. "Evil Dead II "was a roller coaster ride while this is a coexistence with drinks with friends.

Well, the plot has absolutely nothing to do with the previous movies, except maybe the final, but still and brings us back to "deadites" but now as an army. The Devils are still the villains or protagonists, whatever you see.

actuació Ó N
assumes Well this time Ash 100% the role of hero to face the army by himself. Bruce Campbell created this role and gave it the status of cult hero. The difference with this Ash hand with this is that now there is a demon hunter, is now a subject "brave" who risks everything in medieval fashion in order to save a kingdom and return home. And also, as a bonus, to stay with the girl.

Campbell endorses the character and the movie. Lanza scores of one-liners that you can not avoid to laugh. The guy is badass. You know what to expect from him.

GORE / BLOOD
The gore and effects are surprisingly good. True, all in under budget. You think that making a film epic will need a big budget but Sam Raimi us shows, once again, that with creativity and blood, everything can be arranged. Yes, we have scenes of battle evil and violent. What would we be without blood?.

ADDRESS
Ó N Sam Raimi takes flight with a scenario that lets you expand your skills. We dizzying aerial shots from the point of view of flying demons, the kingdom is explored with expansive shots, moves fast and furious. Battles are carried out violent and funny at the same time. One of the best works visually speaking by Raimi. Totally had fun doing this.

SOUNDTRAC K
Nothing memorable but we have some very cool pieces of battle. Not at the level of the great Tyler Bates but works perfectly when the film becomes "serious." The sound effects are great as usual and that we corroborate with hellish screams, grunts, blood, explosions, etc..

RECOMMENDATION Ó N
"Army of Darkness" is a peculiar film within the horror genre. Maybe I'm wrong but before she was the only one that combined elements of medieval scenes, sequences of fights between armies of demons, and a hero future with a chainsaw.

Thanks again Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell. If you miss the demonic possession of the 2 above, do not worry, there are still demons grotesque makeup that will surely please. A little action with gore is not bad from time to time.

recommend it for those who like 90's Terror essential. Give it a try and get it right this army.
