Margaret: "Why did this bitch still alive?".
bloody Greetings readers!. I resisted almost 5 years to see this movie until a night of insomnia and boredom, I fell into this trap. Go to "little movie" we have here. To get an idea of what they are about to read, I comment that the villain-hero is a WWE professional wrestler known as Kane, the Director of the film led some flicks porn soft-core (of those that broadcast in Cinema Golden Choice), and the movie tries to be a strange combination between "Saw" and new versions of "Slaughter of Texas." Ugh ...
Four years later, Frank now has a prosthetic arm, is re-located as a security guard at the Centre Detention.
As part of a program to reduce jail time, eight young (four men and four women) should be cleaned the old Blackwell Hotel, which has been abandoned for decades due to a fire in the last 2 floors.
Young for obvious reasons are butchered and tortured by the giant ax murderer, who had a horrific childhood in which he was punished by his mother. Now, consider to be out the eyes of the people because they were sinners.
also have outstanding accounts with Officer Frank.
What connection does this?. Do not even try to guess ...

This new way of doing Horror Film is becoming more tired. "Evil" is an even more daring copy of "Slaughter of Texas" since it is also the time to insert elements of "Friday 13" (the murderer imposing and powerful), "Psycho" (the mother who suggests murder) , and even "Saw" (the scenes of torture).
But "Evil" fails in every way possible to not connect properly to the most important aspects of a slasher film: an interesting story, violence remarkable, lovable characters, and especially the entertainment factor.
The most obvious is the terrible story. From the minute 10 you can say "this does not happen in reality!". It is impossible for a prison program with groups of men and women (read good) being locked in an old hotel, only with the supervision of an officer with a prosthetic arm, and a female officer rather stupid. Without the least security measures, with all the facilities to escape and get high, the dregs of society have the opportunity to reduce his sentence. Pffff.! I do not see the face of stupid. I was watching "Saved by the Bell" in prison.
I also found it incredibly
absurd and useless "surprise" that the officer is executed very quickly in the movie. So why the hell portray him as the central character after the first scene where he puts a bullet in the head murderer?!. No, I do not understand but do not make sense.
Finally, we know nothing about his childhood except fucking murderer but that does not explain why it is super-powerful until miraculously heals and nothing can topple. Well, Jason Voorhees wanted to copy in their physical strength and supernatural powers, but also inserted mental retardation Leatherface on it. Or it is assumed that WWE wrestlers are immortal?. Ahhh, what they wear me ...
decisions the characters are stupid, worse than any slasher standard. This is re-asserted by one-dimensional characters that do not show grace in any way and only waiting to be killed in the voice of "NOW." Sure, some add a little humor and the girls are extremely good, but that's not enough to consolidate a deal.
Even when we are presented to the players, it seems that we are seeing a noventero amateur video of a fan of MTV. It's funny to learn why they were imprisoned but the music and credits do regrettable. But hey, each one of the boys do absolutely nothing to be nice and I enjoyed it so everyone would be released so quickly.
Another negative point is the production values. Although the cinematography has a touch grindhouse and it shows a little "grainy" much like the remakes of "Slaughter in Texas" and "Saw" is noticed in some scenes too dark and allow you to observe situations "important." Neither the Authority "dizzying" which includes fast-forward take on a scene added to the dynamism required. They are simply techniques that can be better exploited for films that do not develop in a claustrophobic. Could take advantage of a better scenario.
At least the murderer performs actions aggressively and a little badass. The way to release the chains and then whip up their victims seemed stressed.
"Evil" can not be defined as a slasher film or as a "crude" about torture and atmosphere. The pace starts but then displays altedor boring and tedious. After a promising start indeed, falls unable to get up because it capitalizes on the negative of the slasher sub-genre and decided to take it very seriously. There is no exaltation, all is well, history is not at all interesting, and instead, which was supposed to be shocking ends up being ridiculous.
I must say that is a disappointment by Lionsgate Films we usually bring quality products.
No tirármela would have no problem anywhere in the place abandoned. Penny McNamee reminds me of the sexy Jensen Daggett (famous for "Friday 13" Part VIII), although this girl is not known to all what is acting. I still loved her back. But speaking of back, honorable mention for Samantha Noble for its perfectly round, firm, and showing giant ass in the shower.

I can not recommend a movie so bad it's unintentionally amusing. If you're a fan of Lionsgate probably want to take a look but I must warn the conventional follower of the genre that is not at all a movie that has "something" that deserves to be seen.

PLOT
Officer Frank Williams and his rookie partner investigate a murder scene in which a woman, still alive, gouged out his eyes. In investigating the grisly finding were, the officers are attacked by a psychopathic murderer who is more than 2 meters. The rookie is killed and Officer Frank lost his arm to be cut by an ax. Four years later, Frank now has a prosthetic arm, is re-located as a security guard at the Centre Detention.

actuació ON
Chusco the villain who does not spit a single word is the best actor. Kane shows physical violence in different scenes and does so with enough style. The subject is angry and violent. Well. Other players have absolutely no idea of what they do. Rachael Taylor stressed with fun by taking your character from parrandera drug addict and prostitute.

Ó N ADDRESS
I go to find Gregory Dark. The last time I saw his name in credits of a movie was years ago in a erotic film. The subject can not combine his cast and make you create the situation where they are. The film has a touch claustrophobic, but it could have taken better advantage of the location. Frantic camera movements seemed out of place, or perhaps the intention was to simulate the action of the WWE. Dark is made to the Movies "B" and this time wanted to show something that is not. The flashbacks in the style of "Saw" did not come very seasonably.
GORE / BLOOD
At least in this department we have plenty to discuss. We have eyes violently uprooted, beaten, a severed arm, shot in the head, hanging by chains, beatings with chains, hooks pierced into several parts, etc. This guy means business.
SOUNDTRACK
Nothing worth mentioning. Lousy rap lyrics and hip-hop in which we are introduced to the characters as we learn about his criminal record. Ugh. RECOMMENDATION Ó N
