But "Evil" fails in every way possible to not connect properly to the most important aspects of a slasher film: an interesting story, violence remarkable, lovable characters, and especially the entertainment factor.

The film has a touch claustrophobic, but it could have taken better advantage of the location. Frantic camera movements seemed out of place, or perhaps the intention was to simulate the action of the WWE. Dark is made to the Movies "B" and this time wanted to show something that is not. The flashbacks in the style of "Saw" did not come very seasonably. 
GORE / BLOOD
At least in this department we have plenty to discuss. We have eyes violently uprooted, beaten, a severed arm, shot in the head, hanging by chains, beatings with chains, hooks pierced into several parts, etc. This guy means business. 
SOUNDTRACK

I can not recommend a movie so bad it's unintentionally amusing. If you're a fan of Lionsgate probably want to take a look but I must warn the conventional follower of the genre that is not at all a movie that has "something" that deserves to be seen.
