To be honest, before deciding which would be the movie to see on that Sunday afternoon, a voice inside me said: "We want to see some of Horror Koreano, gruff sadistic, violent and sexual." Tremendo deal with excellent actors. Sol Kyung-gu is an excellent actor who carries the film well on his shoulders. Her performance is heartbreaking. I feel worried about him and justify his actions under the slogan "Could I do the same in your situation?". The guy really deserves a standing ovation for a show with so many feelings and know use at the right time. As doctors are always safe in everything you do as a parent is determined to do everything possible to rescue his daughter from the evil mind of a serial murderer. The final scene in the terrible discovery made me feel like I've been taking a beating with a pan head for subsequently receiving a knife near the testicles. Brrrrr. 
Han Hye-jin is just perfect in her role as the brave and intelligent young agent. If too reminiscent to "The Silence of the Lambs" (1991) but do not risk as much as Clarice nor is the victim of harassment by the murderer. Still, the comparison is inevitable.
She gives a pretty serious and credible performance as the student "fan" of Kang. As his right arm in the investigation, the relationship between the two is endearing. The rest of the cast is perfect. The murderer and his brother showed a gray side marked by tragedy and legal injustice. Both are upset, angry, bitter with life. Hyeong-Joon Kim focuses too much on show character development as the story. At first, the story focuses on the murder and therefore our characters show "relaxed" because they simply are doing their job. Over the minutes, the players generate feelings of despair, intrigue, and above all strength to face the terror that was unleashed with the investigation. The Director does not forget to show scenes elegant but difficult to accept as the autopsy and the rousing finale. Also creates memorable moments in recent film history. SOUNDTRAC K
These Koreans, completely nuts. We have all kinds of parts that are not very conventional for this type of Thrillers. For example, during the discovery of the corpse, we have shown through pop music editing like a video on MTV Asia. But the final piece, for the discovery of the Doctor is something that will stay in your mind for days. Something like the part used in "Traffic" by Brian Eno.

"No Mercy" is a tremendous film for those who like psychological thrillers that make you think, suffer, to live fully the experience. Certainly not a masterpiece, but its class is the best available anywhere. Your money is worth it. Although I warn you, is not a recommended film to see while you're down or during a hangover. It is highly impressive if you take it seriously.
