"Dr. Kang No, do not enter the room, please do not!".
bloody Greetings readers!. On this occasion I bring you the review of one of the movies listed in my top 5 so far in 2011. True, but that is no guarantee "No Mercy" is a ruthless Koreano Thriller but aims to be very violent, opt for the psychological and emotional issue.
tell in advance which is not an easy film to watch if you suffer with what may happen the actors or in general if you are sensitive to cases of murder and police investigations.
I personally left a lump in my throat because I took it very seriously and I accept, I am fascinated by these stories.
Kang, next to the young detective Min, who was his student in college, work in teams to discover the reasons why a young woman was dismembered. The torso, legs and arms are found at different points. The head is missing. Kang employed in the forensic aspects while Min must prove to his boss and his chief of police investigations that although very young, has the capacity to carry such a sensitive issue.
Clues lead to a serial murderer linked to a group of social activists who complain their factories near the river. The murderer is the leader of the group and the apparent motives of their actions are supposed to do with (to say him in a book he wrote), the factories on the banks of the river prevented the formation of a Venus de Milo on the River. Well, the structure of the land and the river would give him the form of well-known statue. According to the coordinates drawn by himself this would be possible.
The girl detective is dedicated to collect clues and eventually catch the murderer. Everyone is impressed, even Dr. Kang. But this issue is not of such importance for him as he looks forward to her daughter. When
pick it up at the airport, a stranger hands him a package to open shows pictures of the daughter of Kang gagged, beaten, and apparently kidnapped. Kang "intuition" The recent capture of the serial murderer has something to do with it ... Dr. Kang
interview with the murderer who claims to have accounts to settle with him. In other words, has a chicken to eat with him.
The murderer, a man named Lee Seong-ho threat to the Doctor to tell if it is not released in 3 days, your daughter is brutally murdered. Ministerial and forensic evidence is overwhelming. All indications are that he is the murderer, in other words, you just have to wait to use vaseline when entering prison.
But Dr. Kang knows that is extremely dangerous to a guy that is ready for anything. Apparently, both characters had an unfortunate and unfortunate event in the past. Seong-Ho Lee is ready to exact revenge in cold blood Kang's daughter with the same Doctor.
Kang
all depends on altering the level evidence and forensic police. There seems no option. Still, the Dr. will have to try and meddle in the underworld, prostitutes, slums, etc. It should also alter the evidence that the police investigated at the time.
What follows is a story of revenge resulting from a rape trial in which there appears to corruption and economic interests that led to the victim (who later committed suicide) was wrongly crossed the company as a slut.
The tears of the poor and money rich. A dilemma for lawyers, judges, and in this case, medical examiners. Ah, but not everything is so simple. Suddenly, when the story is completely resolved, we learn that there is a terribly difficult background that justifies the actions taken at the trial. A situation that only one person knows why he did it.
Revenge is sweet, but the hardest thing is death, and more difficult than death, is to forgive someone.
In part, got what I expected. Specifically I saw a movie brutal, ruthless, sentimental, harsh, and depressing. While graphically not as brutal, the message and do its final devastating role to compensate for the physical with the psychological.
production values \u200b\u200band Overall everything is perfect. When you do something of quality and effort are highly positive results. We have a great cast, great direction, elegant in the psychological violence and a dark environment. Although the black humor is provided largely by an agent who is jealous of Min
We have a complete film that despite being budget of something in your country, provides an example of what is quality, well invested.
Secondly, I found fascinating research related to the murderer. On the one hand there is everything from the Viewpoint of ministerial, or Public Ministry investigation involving detectives, agents, and on the other hand, research related to forensic medicine.
So are investigated thoroughly the small details such as the nails of the victim, blood and semen, but above all, the fascinating way in which Kang altered evidence to obtain the freedom of the murderer.
We have a story of a detective after a serial murderer while classes of Criminology, Criminalistics, and police investigation. That's what I enjoyed most.
But I will focus only on what the movie offers at history and violence. At all times the plot will keep you interested, waiting, terrified, worried, and even with a lump in the throat. The events unfold at a solid pace with enough tension around them.
atmospheric film is not at all. Most of the time the events happen in bureaucratic offices, the morgue, slums where there is prostitution, and the final takes place in a house on the outskirts of the city. However, in these places you can cut the tension with a scalpel to Kang.
Sometimes you have to have more fear of what the human mind can generate, especially in a merciless revenge can be justified if not applaud.
The analogy between the Venus de Milo and the dismembered corpse that seemed more bright but did not address much later. Similarly, not very abundant in the grounds of social protest but if you explain a bit the family of the murderer. What I mean is that without this sub-plot the story had not suffered at all.
So many changes so dramatic and violent toward the end of history seemed too, well, are extremely realistic and justified but all at once is difficult to assimilate and understand. The effect will result in you if you gave serious about history is that within minutes or even hours, even days of having completed the film will feel concerned and depressed. At the time maybe you can say "ahh, I do not see it coming, wow," but nothing more.
"No Mercy" is a movie that you can not miss if you like the psychological thrillers that rely on elements of the Horror Film. Sure, you think that perhaps inspired too "Se7en" (1995) but generates its own rules and with so many changes of pace in the outcome, will inevitably feel surprised.
The Koreans are miserable bastards who play with our emotions. And I thank you for having produced this movie. Unnecessary roughness could also apply if we consider that this time the murderer preys with the protagonist. Oh, it goes beyond simple physical and emotional suffering ...
Quote of Ernest Hemingway:
"The World is a good place to live and worth fighting for him ... I'm only in accordance with the second" applies here also.
Han Hye-jin is just perfect in her role as the brave and intelligent young agent. If too reminiscent to "The Silence of the Lambs" (1991) but do not risk as much as Clarice nor is the victim of harassment by the murderer. Still, the comparison is inevitable.
She gives a pretty serious and credible performance as the student "fan" of Kang. As his right arm in the investigation, the relationship between the two is endearing. Ah, well I could not help but be attracted to such a beautiful face and body. Because of him I had to call for the first time in my life at Asian Porn. The term "Asian porn" finally made sense in my life.
The rest of the cast is perfect. The murderer and his brother showed a gray side marked by tragedy and legal injustice. Both are upset, angry, bitter with life. His ambition to get revenge at all costs makes you feel bad for them. Maybe give you grief. The manner in which his father crying in court, and as he kneels before Kang is to break your heart. Excellent deal. Detective Special mention for putting roadblocks of Min I do not know his name but the guy threw me out of laughter on several occasions.
The Director does not forget to show scenes elegant but difficult to accept as the autopsy and the rousing finale. Also creates memorable moments in recent film history. My favorite example: the whistle after the discovery of Kang. Without words. I can not explain what bleak and gloomy at the moment. The last scene where Kang has a "flashback" was too much to bear ...
I'll be more aware of the work of this subject .
But the final piece, for the discovery of the Doctor is something that will stay in your mind for days. Something like the part used in "Traffic" by Brian Eno.
Although I warn you, is not a recommended film to see while you're down or during a hangover. It is highly impressive if you take it seriously.

TRA M A
Dr. Kang is known as the best medical examiner throughout Korea. And research has been sworn in cases of homicide transcendent. He taught at the university and is about to take a vacation, but not before waiting for her teenage daughter arrives from the United States, where he has studied approximately 5 years.

COMMENTS
Phew. I did not expect this movie. To be honest, before deciding which would be the movie to see on that Sunday afternoon, a voice inside me said: "We want to see some of Horror Koreano, gruff sadistic, violent and sexual." I told her voice: "ok, fine with me, I have this to say of the plot, I find irresistible." In part, got what I expected. Specifically I saw a movie brutal, ruthless, sentimental, harsh, and depressing. While graphically not as brutal, the message and do its final devastating role to compensate for the physical with the psychological.

Tremendo deal with excellent actors. Sol Kyung-gu is an excellent actor who carries the film well on his shoulders. Her performance is heartbreaking. I feel worried about him and justify his actions under the slogan "Could I do the same in your situation?". The guy really deserves a standing ovation for a show with so many feelings and know use at the right time. As doctors are always safe in everything you do as a parent is determined to do everything possible to rescue his daughter from the evil mind of a serial murderer. The final scene in the terrible discovery made me feel like I've been taking a beating with a pan head for subsequently receiving a knife near the testicles. Brrrrr.
Han Hye-jin is just perfect in her role as the brave and intelligent young agent. If too reminiscent to "The Silence of the Lambs" (1991) but do not risk as much as Clarice nor is the victim of harassment by the murderer. Still, the comparison is inevitable.

Ó N ADDRESS
Hyeong-Joon Kim focuses too much on show character development as the story. At first, the story focuses on the murder and therefore our characters show "relaxed" because they simply are doing their job. Over the minutes, the players generate feelings of despair, intrigue, and above all strength to face the terror that was unleashed with the investigation.

GORE / BLOOD
An autopsy is real and shocking as I've seen recently. It looks so real and raw that is uncomfortable but believe me, is very relevant. We have another brutal beating, a bullet, and photos of the dismembered corpse. Everything in order. The movie is not as brutal violence but is offset by the psychological, speech.
SOUNDTRAC K
These Koreans, completely nuts. We have all kinds of parts that are not very conventional for this type of Thrillers. For example, during the discovery of the corpse, we have shown through pop music editing like a video on MTV Asia. But the final piece, for the discovery of the Doctor is something that will stay in your mind for days. Something like the part used in "Traffic" by Brian Eno.
RECOMMENDATION Ó N
"No Mercy" is a tremendous film for those who like psychological thrillers that make you think, suffer, to live fully the experience. Certainly not a masterpiece, but its class is the best available anywhere. Your money is worth it. Although I warn you, is not a recommended film to see while you're down or during a hangover. It is highly impressive if you take it seriously.
