Title Versus Bil Of Sale And Camper

The Rite (The Ritual) (2011) - The Devil and Anthony Hopkins.

Father Lucas: "The greatest trick the devil is having you believe that there is."
6/10

demonically possessed Greetings readers!. This cold night will bring the review of the horror movie fashion. "The Rite" has generated controversy because it is based on a true story (almost all have ignored this), but mostly because it's the triumphant return of the great Anthony Hopkins.

First, consider necessary to establish that even though I love more than my girlfriends to "The Exorcist" and "Exorcist III: Legion", I was as objective as possible to the movie that concerns us.

PLOT
Michael Kovak is a young "almost priest" who has lost his faith. Decides to become a priest because in other words, he has no other. To not disappoint for $ 100,000.00 to the college of priests, decided to take a quasi-mandatory course of exorcism in the Vatican.

Different situations could hardly be considered "casual" or matches do not convince the young to strengthen their faith in God and belief in the devil. Very skeptical the boy.

One of the high command at the Vatican "sees something in him" a kind of talent that should be exploited. As it is sent to live with Father Lucas Trevant an unorthodox man of faith who makes a living as an exorcist. The guy knows how to make the Roman ritual and practice in her home and even at home. What a deal.

What Michael is FINALLY about to see will convince you that the devil exists and worse, that their faith is so fragile as the balance of a prostitute on crack.

Lucas is "visited" by force by an old friend and now it's Michael become in an exorcist before you can not even pronounce "what-have-seen-before." COMMENTS

First of all, let me make clear that "The Rite" is nowhere near being a bad movie. Instead, I think the story is interesting (although its potential is not exploited) and that the outstanding actions saved her from being just regular.

God and the devil. Two controversial topics in culture and religion. Is in you as to draw conclusions regarding its existence and its influence in your life.

I have to admit that the poster seemed pessimistic and even tells you what will happen in the scene summit. Pfffff .... The trailer caught my attention but also because the theme and the participation of Anthony Hopkins, I had to give it a try.

The truth is that I'm not bored at any time and although I expected it to explode their potential, consider that met expectations.

My main problem is that being a control freak without the horror genre, I could not help comparing it to "The Exorcist" "The Exorcism of Emily Rose", "Exorcist III: Legion" and even "The Last Exorcism" . Yes, I know I must learn to separate, blah blah blah. But it is inevitable. We have seen above issues pertaining to lose faith and how God will always save our sorry ass when the flames are very close to the line.

Nor is it a mystery that we have seen exorcism to priests, as in "Exorcist III: Legion." Round off, the last obstacle to fully enjoy the film was the fact that everything begins to seriously and dramatic jumps abruptly to the graphic and explicit but we have a solid connection. Well, half of the film becomes unimportant and instead of being the medural, we skip to a rousing finale that lacks a strong background. The last scene of exorcism seemed very good but most bad CGI and inappropriate presence the reporter detract.

The story gave me the thrill is not enough to go into it, much less to believe. In principle, we believe that Michael will have memories, nightmares, and encounters with the afterlife as "signals" to re-affirm their beliefs. Do not assume you already had everything?. Why is it so incredulous when even an exorcism symptoms are obvious?. Chavo, the cuernudo below giving you data to anyone other than you know!.

I found it interesting that Father Lucas was not invincible and that his life was at risk when they had no control it. It is assumed that experience is who brings forth the worst adversity.

His relationship with Michael I found very interesting but did not buy at all that we do believe that they were so emotionally attached. True, lived together, shared exorcisms, Lucas tried to convince the young about the existence of the devil, but outside of those details, we had no time or relevant connections between them.

scenes of tension and fear are therefore well established and a surprisingly cold atmosphere. bought the explanation of the possession and how to treat it. It is a kind of treatment that can last for years. Lucas explains in a critical but offers solutions.

related The devil and his scenes are very good impact. I loved the scene where the pregnant girl spit nails, how retuerece, and even how he dies in the hospital. Call it the first attack on the little faith in Michael. The conversation with his father beyond is to put on your hair stand on end. The Lord says he is being tortured for help.

But the movie is worth the final exorcism. The manner in which the "guest" hits the door violently intention to enter is spectacular. That sounds like "Drag Me To Hell" (Drag Me to Hell). But the "Highlight" is when the evil one comes and says who he is. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Hopkins dominated his exorcism scene to perfection and even did see a bad CGI as something anecdotal. One of the most powerful scenes of exorcism in recent times.

The main problem was the script that apparently only compiled the idea of \u200b\u200bpossession and study but it seems that the writers gave them "Spawn" get into it and said "ah, inserting scenes of fear" to save the investment.

The Christian themes and church's position on demonic possession is not explored as it should. In other words, you will generate interest but not being explained, I will frustrate. Clear example of this is when the priest to give the course and explain the demonic hierarchy, suddenly interrupted by a "casual apagaón." I wanted to learn more!.

I also would like to know more about the death of the mother of Michael and his rather cold relationship with his father. True, the family has a funeral and embalming business. I think it might elaborate much more to strengthen parent-child relationship.

reporter's character played by the sexy Alice Braga seemed a hindrance unfairly. I mean it had great potential to be the objective opinion about everything that happens. She had to be documented and provide feedback. In contrast, only participating in 4 scenes that do not add anything. What made his book?. Aha, what else?. Why not even attempted to intervene in an exorcism?: THIS IS NOT YOUR BITCH SCHOOL OF PHILOSOPHY AND LETTERS!. Or whatever ...

not I liked the fact unorthodox show which is the Father Lucas. Ok, enough with the commentary of the priest who teaches the course, also with his personality, it was not necessary inadvertent launch black humor. The way we answer the phone during an exorcism is painful, I almost think I was watching "Repossessed" with Leslie Nielsen (RIP).

important thing is that "The Rite" has the ability to get up and close more than worthy.

Anthony Hopkins gives a performance as solid as the giant back home voluptuous stripper I saw yesterday at midnight looking for customers on the road. The guy steals every second onscreen. Their study appears in the Roman ritual was extensive and it shows in their performance. An excellent example of how a man of faith, self-assured eccentric but calculator may be helpless when faith is not enough ... The guy even looks cool to slap a little girl.

Mr. Hopkins is more than happy to hear the "clink-clink-clink" every time you get a juicy check. This time it seems that an exorcism had fun practicing. Colin O'Donoghue

seems like a very interesting actor. The guy is serious, secure, manage emotions so cold when dropped but emotionally, it raises its quality.

Alice Braga is so hot as the sun and her smile can light up the Vatican. Too bad they did not give his character a lot. Still, very good performance.

Rutger Hauer, as he always steals the show. This time her character is a man who looks sad leagues, frustrated, lonely. Manages to convey his sadness to the audience. Maria Grazia Cucinotta

(best known for their glorious breasts in "The Day of the Beast" and in general) has little screen time and the Director should be exorcised for not showing her cleavage in heaven. Marta

Gastini well as makes it possessed. Yikes.

The Director Mikael Håfström knows quite how to create mystery and soon through dialogue and moral and religious questions can affect your sub-conscious.

flashback scenes (The funeral of the mother of Michael, his encounters with his father to embalming) and the terrifying nightmares (all about when the devil disguised as a visit to Michael Lucas, and that MULA ohhh ....) show that the guy knows what which is the Terror. All he did it shows that it is style but needs to improve their scripts.

The cinematography seems fine. Great shots of Rome and their daily living. I loved the scenes in which the Father Lucas shows solo, thoughtful, he knows he has a battle-door. This you can play with the sunset in a picture postcard view, and even when in the backyard. Outstanding.

denying conformity because I just want to mock movie "The Exorcist" through a dialogue which I admit is more than funny. Ok, I got it off my chest.

"The Rite" is entertaining, and is pretty decent demonic material.
